Range Repair in Houston

We repair Samsung freestanding and slide-in electric, gas and induction ranges, including Flex Duo models. If a burner will not light or the oven runs off temperature, we check the cause and tell you what it means.

01What goes wrong

Oven will not heat or preheat

04

Flex Duo divider or door does not work

05

Display blank or showing a code

06

Cooktop element not heating

Samsung ranges carry model numbers beginning with NX, NE or NY, a reading aid for the type on the label. Owners often know the Flex Duo line, which splits one large oven into two compartments with a removable divider and separate controls.

In Houston kitchens, grease and humidity affect igniters, knobs and control panels, and gas lines need careful checking after a move or a new connection. Storms can also cause surges that upset the electronic controls.

On a visit we start with the power or gas supply, the igniters or elements, the temperature sensor and the controls, plus the door seal and the divider on Flex Duo models. We tell you what we find and give a written price before repair. Tell us if the problem began after a storm, a cleaning cycle or a move.

05Range questions
Why does my gas burner keep clicking?

Moisture, spilled food or a dirty igniter can keep the click going after the flame lights. We clean and test the igniter and the burner cap and tell you whether a part is needed.

Why does my oven miss the temperature I set?

A worn sensor, a failing element or a control problem can all do this, and the display alone cannot tell us which. We check readings against a thermometer before replacing parts.

Can a power surge damage my range?

Storm surges can upset the electronic control, leaving the display blank or the oven unresponsive. We check the supply and the control board, then explain whether a repair is possible.
