Why does frost keep forming inside my freezer?
Frost often traces back to warm, moist air entering, from a door seal gap or a door left ajar, or to a defrost problem. We check the seals and defrost operation. The frost alone cannot tell us which one.
Is it safe to refreeze food that thawed?
It depends on how long the food stayed warm and on its type, which we cannot judge from the appliance itself. Food that still has ice crystals is often handled differently from food that reached room temperature. Check current food-safety guidance.
Does a garage location matter for a freezer?
