Refrigerator Repair in Houston
We repair Samsung French door, side-by-side and Family Hub refrigerators, including models with in-door ice makers and water dispensers. Tell us what the unit is doing and what the display shows, and we plan the visit around it.
Common refrigerator problems we fix
In the order we see them across Houston homes.
Fresh-food side warm while freezer stays cold
Ice maker slow, empty or jammed
Water collecting beneath the produce drawers
Buzzing or clicking noise at the rear
Display blank or showing a code
Dispenser leaks or will not pour
Samsung refrigerators carry model numbers that begin with RF, RS or RH for French door and side-by-side layouts, a letter prefix that helps us identify the type from the label. Samsung’s lines include Bespoke and Family Hub models, which add panels, screens and app connections to the cooling system.
In Houston homes, heat and humidity push refrigerators hard. Condenser coils collect dust, door seals soften, and ice makers on long water lines can clog or freeze. Storms and brief power surges can also upset the electronics that run inverter compressors and fans.
On a first visit we check temperatures in both sections, airflow, the door seals, the defrost path and the water line to the ice maker, then explain what we found and the written price before any work starts.

Why is the freezer cold while the fridge side is warm?
Often cold air is not reaching the fresh-food side, because of frost on the evaporator, a stuck air path or a fan that has stopped. We check airflow and frost first. The sign alone does not tell us which part failed.
Can a power outage affect a connected refrigerator?
Storms and brief surges can leave a control board resetting or a display unresponsive. We check the supply and board behavior, then see whether cooling is affected. A frozen app link on its own usually points to Wi-Fi, not the refrigerator.
Why does my ice maker produce small or hollow cubes?
Low water flow to the ice maker is a common reason, and the cause can be a clogged filter, a partly closed valve or a frozen fill tube. We trace the water path from the supply to the tray before suggesting a part.
