What Blinking: Delicate / Quick+ means

On Samsung dishwashers without a digital display, a blinking Delicate or Quick+ light reports that the dishwasher cannot drain. The light that flashes depends on the model. It is the older way of showing what digital-display models call 5C or SC. The cycle stops with water left in the tub, and the cause is as likely to be the sink drain or disposal as the dishwasher.
