RF23A9071
Samsung RF23A9071 Smart 4-Door Flex Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Water under the crisper drawers
- Interior light and door switch
- Water dispenser flow
- Flex compartment temperature
The RF23A9071 is the family code for a 23 cu. ft. smart counter depth 4-door Flex refrigerator, and its full label ends in extra letters such as SR. Related RF23A9 codes cover more versions, so we look at the label before assuming what is inside.
A smart four-door brings extra paths for water and electronics. We trace a slow dispenser from the supply valve to the filter and the line behind the door. A light that stays dark goes through the bulb, the switch and the wiring. Water under the crisper drawers sends us to the defrost drain. The Flex compartment is checked on its own because it has its own temperature setting.
We read model and serial from the label before ordering parts. The price is in writing before work starts, and a 30-day warranty comes with the repair.

Is RF23A9071 the full model code?
It is the family form. The label adds letters, such as SR, and related RF23A9 codes exist for other versions. We confirm the full label on your unit before we order, so parts match your exact refrigerator.
Why is the dispenser slow?
The filter, the supply valve or the line to the door may be restricted. We check the supply first and work toward the door, so a simple clog is found before we consider replacing the valve or the dispenser.
Why check the Flex compartment separately?
Because it can be set to its own temperature, the compartment can behave differently from the fridge and the freezer. A problem there may not show in the other sections, so we test its settings and its cooling by itself.
