What OF OF means

On Samsung refrigerators in the US with a numeric or alphanumeric display, OF OF is Cooling Off mode, also called Demo or Shop mode. The display may read OF OF, O FF, OFF OFF or scroll temperature bars. In this mode cooling, ice making and the water dispenser are disabled, so the refrigerator warms up. Service is not required. The owner needs to switch the mode off, using a button combination that depends on the model.

1. Hold the model-specific button combination for about 5 to 8 seconds until you hear a chime. On many panels this is the top two left buttons. Some panels also use the top right button. 2. On a Family Hub, go to Apps, Fridge Manager, Fridge Settings, Cooling Off, then choose Deactivate. 3. Check your user manual for your model. 4. Move food to a cooler if it has warmed.
