How does E-82 differ from E-81?

E-81 is an open link and E-82 is a shorted link between the same two parts. Both look alike on the display, but they are different electrical conditions.

Can liquid reach the keypad?

A spill or cleaning spray can seep behind the panel. Wipe the outside only, with the oven off and unplugged, and never spray cleaner directly onto the keypad.

Is the oven dangerous with this code?

Not by itself. It simply may not accept commands. Leave the oven unplugged if you cannot get it to respond, and call us to arrange a check.
