RF22K9581
Samsung RF22K9581 Family Hub Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Family Hub screen response and software restart
- Wi-Fi connection to the network
- Evaporator fan and cooling airflow
- Defrost heater and drain
- Ice maker and water valve
The Samsung RF22K9581 is a counter depth 4-door refrigerator from the Family Hub line, with 22 cu. ft. of capacity. The Family Hub has a touchscreen on one door, which adds electronics to a refrigerator already built with several compartments. It is an older model that many families still use.
Cooling and the screen are separate problems, and we keep them apart. If the screen is blank or slow, we check power to the door and the network connection. If food is warm, we check the evaporator fan, defrost system and door seals, and then the ice maker supply.
Before any order goes in, the rating label confirms the model and serial. Pricing is put in writing ahead of the repair, which carries a 30-day workmanship warranty.

Error codes this model can show
The screen is black but the fridge still cools. Is that a cooling problem?
Not necessarily. The screen has its own power and software, so we check it separately from the cooling system.
Can you help with Wi-Fi on the Family Hub?
We check the refrigerator connection and the control response. Router settings are also worth checking, and we tell you what we find.
What do you check on a 4-door model first?
The fans, the defrost system and the door seals, because they affect every compartment.
