RF90F29AECE
Samsung RF90F29AECE Hub Refrigerator Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Family Hub screen and camera view
- Door hinge strength with the heavy screen door
- Ice maker and water filter
- Freezer fan and defrost drain
- Four door gaskets
The RF90F29AECE is a Samsung Bespoke 4-door French door refrigerator with 29 cubic feet of capacity, a Family Hub touchscreen mounted in the right-hand upper door and AI Vision. It is listed in charcoal glass and black charcoal. It is not listed as counter depth.
A screen in a door adds weight and wiring to something that already swings dozens of times a day. If the door sags, will not stay closed or lets the display flicker, we start with the hinge and the cable passing through it. We then test the cooling, ice and water paths like any other French door refrigerator: fan, defrost drain, valve and filter.
Because the same family has 23 cubic foot versions, we read the exact model and serial number from the label before ordering parts. You get a written price before work begins, and we cover the repair with a 30-day workmanship warranty.

Why does the screen door matter for hinge wear?
The door holds a touchscreen in addition to shelves, so it carries more weight than a plain door. We check hinge tightness and alignment before replacing anything.
What is the capacity difference between the RF90F29AECE and RF90F23AECE?
This one is listed at 29 cubic feet and the other at 23. Both are Bespoke 4-door models with a Family Hub touchscreen. Parts can differ, so we match them using the label.
Can the ice maker be serviced separately from the screen?
Yes. The ice maker is part of the water and freezer system, so we test its supply, valve, filter and temperature without depending on the screen.
