Samsung NQ70M9770 Chef Collection combination oven Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Blank display following an outage
- Microwave section that runs with no heat
- Boards that stop talking to each other
- Flex Duo divider seating
- Door latch and door message
The NQ70M9770 is a 30-inch Chef Collection microwave combination wall oven with Flex Duo. The divider splits the cavity in two, and the microwave sits above the oven section. It is an older model that remains in many kitchens, normally built into a wall cabinet.
We approach it as two appliances in one box. The microwave side gets the door switch, high-voltage path and control output checks, and the oven side gets the elements, sensor and divider checks. When the microwave runs without heating, we test the high-voltage parts with power off, and when the display ignores touch after a power cut, we look at the supply and boards first.
Our technician reads the full model code and serial from the label before ordering a part, because the number shown here is the short family form. You receive a written price before work starts, and every repair has a 30-day workmanship warranty.

What is special about a Chef Collection oven like the NQ70M9770?
It is listed as a 30-inch Flex Duo Chef Collection microwave combination wall oven. For service, the useful facts are the microwave section and the Flex Duo divider, and we check both on every call.
The microwave side hums but does not heat. What happens next?
We test the door switches and the high-voltage path with the power safely off, then confirm which part has failed before we replace it. We do not replace microwave parts by guesswork.
Why do you read the label if I already know the number?
The number here is a short family form, and the full code on the label tells us the exact version. That way the parts we order match your oven, and the price we quote is accurate.
